Producer
I produce inclusive festivals and community events with an emphasis on high quality programming, social purpose, diversity and community participation. I love working on arts projects that engage people from all walks of life, helping them to connect with each other and to explore the worlds in which they live.
I keep up to date with the best work on offer by maintaining excellent local, national and international networks and by making and touring my own outdoor and community arts projects across UK and Europe (see Director).

I am presently Co-Director of Edgelands Arts, Director of Holmfirth Arts Festival (since 2018) and work regularly as freelance Event Manager for Right Up Our Street. I was Associate Producer Festivals and Events at Creative Scene (2018- 2019), Between 1990 and 2017, was founding Artistic Director of Faceless Arts.

"Bev has been director of the Holmfirth Arts Festival since 2018. Her commitment to the festival's environmental theme of 'creativity in the landscape', and the skill she has shown in developing inclusive community engagement and the commissioning of new work, has been exceptional. Mounting an extended outdoor and indoor festival with so many varied interests and participants involved has multiple challenges. Not least is the need to respond to ever changing events (including Covid). Bev's flexibility, ingenuity and experience has often turned a potential crisis into an unexpected opportunity - whilst also maintaining strong financial control at all times. No mean feat, particularly when it results in so much enjoyment. Thanks Bev." Roger Lancaster, Chair of Board of Trustees, Holmfirth Arts Festival 2023

"It was a pleasure to collaborate with Bev Adams of festival manager for our third annual DNweekeND festival. Bev brought a calm, friendly and utterly 'can do' professionalism to the project and communicated brilliantly with the festival team and commissioned artists before, during and after the event. There was a real care about the work, outdoor arts and ensuring everyone had the best possible experience." Andrew Loretto, Director - Right Up Our Street & DNweekeND 2016
